Aaditi Dutt's blog

One of our matte painters, Aaditi Dutt, has posted on her blog a fascinating collection of photographs of a fire in her building (Aaditi is ok :)), some of which may be mined for use in texturing the bleak environments in Lucy.  Additi is a fantastic talent, but don't take my word for it.  See her work for yourself:

Alex Ware vfx test - Lucy's mother's dress

There's a ghostly apparition in Lucy's nightmare, a memory of her deceased mother that appears in the form of a dress carried by the wind.  Alex Ware, our newest vfx artist is bringing it to life with a kind of beauty that is downright haunting.  Thank you Alex!

Weecho's final texturing on Todd Glover's haunted house

I really wish I could convert my suburban tract home into
something like this.  My neighbors would be so pissed.
Thanks for the awesome work Todd & Weecho!

Dream turns to nightmare

A peek at one of Brad Jacobson's production shots. So far we haven't posted any of Lucy's character animation- trying to keep it a secret. But what's a Lucy blog without a glimpse of her in action?

This is the moment Lucy realizes she's not in Kansas any more. It's about to get ugly.

Brad you rock.

Ravi Kamble Govind Scarecrow entry for Concurso Arte y Animación

Ravi is a Lucy animator, and a great one at that, but there are many iAnimators not working on Lucy who've done great things with our rigs. I'd love to feature some of them in the coming weeks. Always fun to see what people are doing with these characters outside the scope of actual Lucy production. If you are one of those animators please drop me a line so we can showcase your work!

Thanks for this moment of pure evil Ravi-
