Huge thanks to Jason Ryan, Brad Jacobson, Todd Glover, Greg White, Larry Vasquez, Victor Vinyals, Juan Solis, Immanuel Matias and everyone else who made this horrifying thing happen!
Greg's a pro lighter at DWA and has signed on to help us refine our lighting schemes and really plus the piece as a whole. Super excited to have him on board!
We've got a great new 'wet look' eye shader coming from Joost van Schaik and new Scarecrow facial textures from Weecho- tb implemented soon both of which will really plus our noir lighting style.
One of our matte painters, Aaditi Dutt, has posted on her blog a fascinating collection of photographs of a fire in her building (Aaditi is ok :)), some of which may be mined for use in texturing the bleak environments in Lucy. Additi is a fantastic talent, but don't take my word for it. See her work for yourself:
There's a ghostly apparition in Lucy's nightmare, a memory of her deceased mother that appears in the form of a dress carried by the wind. Alex Ware, our newest vfx artist is bringing it to life with a kind of beauty that is downright haunting. Thank you Alex!
